Youth hostel is a home away from home. Youth hostel Nainital provied inexpensive hostelling facilities to young person's on their educational and cultural centers. It has always stood for dedicated service'd and provided better facilities. Youth Hostel Nainital is based on the principle of accommodation in the form of dormitories- separate for ladies and gents, a dining hall with self-service. It's not like a hostels, which guests merely pay stay-charges. In youth hostel Nainital catering facilities should be available in lowest cost. Reach Nainital - By Train

Kathgodam (35Kms) is the nearest railway station to reach nainital. Daily trains from Delhi / Lucknow / Bareilly / Dehradun / Howrah are available.

Reach Nainital - By Air

The nearest airstrip is at pantnagar (70Kms). Ocassional flights to pantnagar are available from delhi. Its a 2Hrs drive from pantnagar to nainital.

Reach Nainital - By Road

By Road it takes about 7-8 Hrs to travel the distance between Delhi & Nainital (around 320Kms). Taxi's, Luxury Buses, State Transport Buses are the options to reach nainital by road. ISBT at delhi has daily morning & night services to nainital and same back to Delhi from Nainital.

Group Facility

Single or double rooms are available for group leaders with attached bathrooms, while seprate dormitories available for girls & boys.

Seprate Kitchen

We have sparate kitchen available for groups to cook there meals. Tea/Coffee is availabe at the kitchen.

Dining Hall

Along the kitchen is available big hall for dining. The dining hall has a sitting capacity to accomodate around 60 persons at a time.

Parking

As nainital is a popular hill station and parking is surely a mess at most of the hill stations, we have ample space for parking and accomodate guests personal vehicles.

Dormitories

We have 105 beds in dormitories. A well seprate dormitories for girls accomodation and boys accomodation can be managed easily as per requirements.

Sight Seeing

Nainital boasts of its natural beauty and one can go around lake- boating, walk, mountain hike and lots more.

In Youth Hostel Nainital overnight charges are kept to the minimum, so that the youth with limited means can avail themselves of the boarding & lodging facility. The rooms at the hostel have been designed to keep you and also the dormitories have been planned to make youth travelers feel more than comfortable.
Rooms at the hostels are broken down into convenient sizes, so they can suit all types of groups and separate rooms are there for group leaders.

Hostel Policies - A set of rules & regulations:

  1. The hostel warden's decision in respect to late hours entry shall be final and binding.

  2. Consumption of alcohol or any other intoxicant is strictly prohibited within the campus.

  3. All the payment will be done through bank-to-bank transfer (offline mode) and there is No online Payment Gateway facilities.

  4. All meals and even tea & coffee have to be consumed and served in the dining hall only.

  5. Everyone staying has to abide by self-service for cooking, serving, washing dishes or cleanliness.

  6. No hostel staff should be asked to serve meals or wash dishes.

  7. Food items already intimated to officials should be cooked in the kitchen.

  8. Chek-out time is 10:00AM and gate closing time is 10:00PM.

  9. Childres below 5Yrs of age are not permitted to stay at the hostel.

  10. We have no facilities for online booking, only phone call and email through we take booking.
  11. Please Note: We have not joined or collaborated with any online booking portals like MMT, trip clues, etc.
